My name is Jacqui and I’m one of the Casting Producers working on the Property Brothers new show for HGTV, Forever Home. 




The Property Brothers are looking to help a military family renovate their forever home! We're currently virtually scouting for a family that lives in and around the Las Vegas area.

UPCOMING VETERAN EVENTS


November 8, Friday. Hash House A Go Go Fundraiser. Starts 5:00 pm till closing.

555 North Stephanie Street, Henderson. They are donating 20%

of all sales to the Chapter. Encourage as many friends to come.


November 9 and 10 Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Humana Veterans Expo.

We have a table. Galleria Mall at Sunset.

1300 W Sunset Rd, Henderson.


November 9, Saturday. Veterans Day Car Show and BBQ. 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

We have a table. Southern Nevada VA Hospital

6900 N Pecos Rd, N Las Vegas.


November 11, Monday Veterans Day Parade. All are encouraged to attend.

We have vehicles for those who can't walk the route.


November 11, Monday. Nevada State Veterans Home after the Veterans Day Parade

300 hrs. (1:30 pm), 100 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City.

Performance by Marilyn O’Leary singing the National Anthem.

Event sponsored by the VFW.


November 11, Monday. For majority of free offers of food and discounts and other

November 16, Saturday. Veterans Resource Fair. 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. FREE.

Heritage Park Senior Facility, 300 S. Racetrack Rd, Henderson.


November 23 and 24, Saturday and Sunday. The Great Las Vegas Gun Show will

be at the Las Vegas Convention Center. We will be sharing a

table with Chapter 17 and AVVA Chapter 17. We'll need volunteers.

3150 Paradise Road, Las Vegas. Parking free for disabled vets.


December 10, Tuesday. 1076 Christmas Dinner, Henderson Fiesta Hotel.

777 W E Lake Mead Pkwy, Henderson. $10.00 per person.


December 14, Saturday. Wreaths Across America. Purchase personal wreathes or help

place wreathes on graves. Boulder City Veterans Cemetery.


December 15, Sunday. VVA Chapter 17 / AVVA Chapter 17 Second Annual Christmas

Party. German American Club, 1110 Lake Meade Blvd. Starts 5:30 pm.

$15.00 per person and $25.00 per couple.


December 21 & 22 Sat & Sun. The Gun Show at Pavilions World Market.

205 W Symphony Park Ave, Las Vegas. Will need volunteers.

Chapter 1076 was incorporated in 2013, as a VVA Chapter in Nevada. We are based in Henderson. Our meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month .
